Our team works closely Kampala Region HIV Project (KRHP) under CDC (Center for Disease Control) and IDI (Infectious Disease Institute) to offer high quality services. We offer HIV testing services (both at the facility and outreaches) with those testing positive enrolled in HIV care as per national guidelines and those testing negative given preventive interventions like safe male circumcision, condoms among others.
We also offer screening and treatment for Tuberculosis, sexually Transmitted Infections, and other HIV related illnesses (opportunistic infections). We also have a robust PMTCT program and also offer ARVS, viral load monitoring, regular interactions with these mothers in family support groups to address client specific concern and challenges like Gender Based Violence, stigma etc., that might hamper their adherence to medications.
Our team comprises of 2 medical officers, 3 clinical officers, 3 nurses, 2 midwives, 2 counselors, 1 peer mother, 1 data clerk and a linkage coordinator.
